Volunteers Making Cloth Masks for People in Need

Volunteers Making Cloth Masks for People in NeedDue to COVID-19, there has been a severe storage of personal protective equipment (PPE) in hospitals across the world. Whilst people now understand the importance of face coverings to prevent spread of the virus, with some countries such as the USA, promoting the use of masks, the use of critical supplies, such as surgical masks or N95 respirators, are reserved for front-line responders and health professionals. Community members are encouraged, instead, to use cloth masks and face coverings. BTCF, in over 12 countries, have been working to produce cloth masks and mask coverings for vulnerable communities, front-line responders and volunteers.Read more...
