Working Together to Build New Homes October is the harvest season for ginger in Namasia, a township in the mountains of Kaohsiung County, southern Taiwan. Starting in October, Liu Ming-ze usually spends two to three months visiting farmers to assess the quality of their ginger. He then purchases stock and sells it to wholesalers.
