Working Together to Mitigate Disasters

Virtues beautify our spirit. First of all, we should honor the sanctity of life and avoid eating the flesh of living beings. Second, we should practice the virtue of speech. When we only eat what is proper to eat and only say what is proper to say, we avoid creating negative karma with our mouths.

Loving reminders from Tzu Chi

" Material objects were meant to be tools for us to use. Yet, lacking wisdom, we are perpetually discontent, and we thus become enslaved by material objects. "
Jing-Si Aphorism
